About Green Gigs

Welcome to Green Gigs!

Updated September 18, 2009: Green Gigs is no longer an active blog. Although we had a good run, the time has come to bring Green Gigs to a close. As such, some of the information below has changed. Specifically, comments have been closed and the statcounter removed. Thanks for stopping.

Green Gigs was founded as a job board/blog hybrid dedicated to helping those seeking telecommuting, eco-focused work. It has grown into a grassroots network of green job hunters who understand the environmental and personal benefits of working from home on behalf of the environment. What you can find on Green Gigs:

* Home-based, green job listings, spanning all industries,
* Interviews with green professionals,
* Job search tips,
* Job application advice from employers,
* Profiles of green job hunters,
* Green living information, resources, and more!

The Minds Behind Green Gigs
Lori – Founder and Editor
As a freelancer and science geek, Lori found there was a lack of free, centralized job information, listings and resources in the blogosphere for those seeking home-based, eco-friendly work. In an effort to correct this oversight, Lori launched Green Gigs in August 2008.

Morgan – Contributing Writer
Writer, greenie, poetry lover, blogger and kindred spirit, Morgan O’Donnell, joined Green Gigs in February 2009 as a contributing writer. Morgan brings her sense of humor, her experience pursuing a sustainable life, and job hunter insight to Green Gigs.
