"The Green Collar Economy" Giveaway

Sponsored Post - Read here for more information.
It is ShoreBank’s mission to invest, “in people and their communities to create economic equity and a healthy environment”. In keeping with this long-standing mission, ShoreBank will donate $25 to Green For All for each new high yield savings account opened through the end of November. Green For All is an organization that advocates green-collar job training and creation to combat poverty and pollution - a win-win scenario.

Van Jones, founder of Green For All, has written the must-read book for any green job hunter: The Green Collar Economy. From the book jacket:

Provocative, personal, and inspirational, New York Times best-seller The Green Collar Economy is not a dire warning but rather a substantive and viable plan for solving the biggest issues facing the country--the failing economy and our devastated environment. From a distance, it appears that these two problems are separate, but when we look closer, the connection becomes unmistakable.

WIN A COPY OF THE GREEN COLLAR ECONOMY!

ShoreBank has donated one copy of The Green Collar Economy by Van Jones to a Green Gigs reader! To enter for a chance to win, simply leave a comment below. If you are a blogger, you may earn one extra entry by linking to Green Gigs with a text link or by adding the Green Gigs’ button to your site. Van Jones is a dynamic speaker, funny and extraordinarily compassionate. I'm impressed with his participation in Clinton's Global Initiative and his desire to employ a movement to save not just "polar bears but to save Pookie too". I can't wait to read the book.

And I'm glad I discovered Green Gigs, too!
